GPR has a lot of functions and applications, but in layman’s terms it’s a piece of equipment that allows you to scan the subsurface and reveal what’s under you or basically a x-ray machine for the ground. Some applications of the technology is looking for damages in construction, and locating abnormalities in the ground such as dead bodies or sinkholes. With the latest upgrades in the machine, you scan even deeper underground now as you can see in the picture below. It helps create better quality images to understand exactly what’s below us.
